This Privacy Policy explains how Fatima's GeminiTools ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the "Export Gemini Chats to Word, PDF & MD" Chrome extension ("the Extension").
By using the Extension, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Google Account Information. When you sign in with Google to activate a Pro subscription, we collect your Google account email address and display name. This is used solely to identify your account and manage your subscription status.
Payment Information. Payments are processed by Dodopayments. We do not store your credit card or payment details. Dodopayments may collect billing information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
Usage Data. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as install events and export counts. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
Chat Content. When you use the Extension to export a conversation, the text of that conversation is sent to our server to generate the requested document (Word, PDF, or Markdown). This content is processed only to fulfill your export request and is not stored on our server after the document is generated, and is not used for any other purpose, including advertising or analytics.
Location Data. We use your IP address (via a third-party geolocation service) to determine your general country/region. This is used for regional pricing and analytics purposes. We do not store your precise location or IP address beyond this lookup.
Your email address and subscription status are stored securely on our server hosted on Railway (railway.app). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide the service.
Chat content submitted for export is processed transiently on our server solely to generate your requested document (Word, PDF, or Markdown), and is deleted immediately after processing. We do not retain, log, or review chat content.
Your local extension data (daily usage count, Pro status) is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We retain your email address and subscription status for as long as you have an active account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
